Proof of moose. 

(no actual spoilers here) 

Nah, I wouldn’t really pit the two against each other. But I’ve been getting the vibe that for this season you’re either a Sam fan or a Dean fan… 

Two separate people at two different colleges told me within the last week that Sam was ‘whiny’ and/or ‘wimpy’. One told me that Sam should’ve been willing to give up his girlfriend when Dean came back from Purgatory (note: maybe he has by now; I haven’t seen this week’s episode yet) because Dean gave up Lisa to get Sam’s soul back. 

My first thought is that Dean only gave up Lisa when she and Ben were in imminent, constant danger. He really did love them. 

My second thought is that it would not be right for Sam to abandon his girlfriend & dog like that just because Dean showed up again. Think of the girl! She’s got feelings in the matter too. =P 

My third thought is that the brothers - especially Dean - need to grow up. Sam, out of the two, is the most emotionally stable. He’s got a chance of a proper life. Dean - he thinks he’s tied into the hunter life and as long as he thinks that, he has no chance of a proper life. 

And it’s cruel of him to expect Sam to stay. They’re brothers, yes. But brothers have to grow up someday and be separate people with separate lives. 

And I’m guessing that’s what the writers are driving at. Or I hope. Because if the end of the season comes and we’re right back where we started, I’m going to be royally disappointed.

I am curious what kind of animal Sam seems to have regenerated into. Because moose don’t have that much hair.

I am thinking of using semi-permanent dye to dye my hair either black or ginger. (Yeah, if you’re not aware, I am a girl who does female versions of male characters because there are NOT ENOUGH girl characters who have decent costumes that would be fun to cosplay… I think the only one on my bucketlist right now is Death.) 

Reasoning for each: 

• Black - Death cosplay (Sandman), Dream cosplay (Sandman), Castiel cosplay, and because I adore Diana (Anne of Green Gables) 
• Ginger - FOR REASONS THAT’S WHY. ;) Doctor Who and Anne reasons. ;) 

Reasoning not to dye: 

• Eleven cosplay - which I’ve done lots already
• Sammy cosplay - which I’ve also done lots already
• honestly I really do like my hair as-is anyway. ;)

I’m moving in about a week. 

In the meantime, I’m sitting here watching “Swansong” (s5e22) in SPN. 

I’m mentally bawling. Why am I watching Dean and Sam say goodbye to each other now of all times? 

I’ll admit freely that I’m only living half an hour away from my siblings, I still will have one brother with me, and it’s not a huge traumatic people-dying kind of thing. BUT STILL. I have so many Dean!feels because I have the same kind of protective attitude towards my siblings when I don’t want to kill them.

Long story short, I need a Dean necklace by August 1, which means I can’t order one online (plus short of cash. =P) because of shipping times. 

Has anyone *made* a necklace like that before? Any ideas on how I could put something together? 

(thekitchenknight and I are doing fem!Sam-series1 and fem!Dean and potentially bringing my sister along as Jo. Yes, photos will be posted.)
