Trying out different artstyles… this one is based roughly on Astro Boy (2003 anime) but it definitely needs work. (Astro uses a slightly bigger head:body ratio rather than the 1:3-3.5 ratio I used. (something like 1:4, IIRC) Also, the feet aren’t the right style, too much detail)

Reference was an image of ulzzang Song Ah Ri, though necklace/bracelets and top were randomly done without being based on ref.

Just completed this a few minutes ago, & I adore this drawing~<3 ^^ I’ve decided the child is crying tears of happiness, m’kay? Children shouldn’t be too sad looking. (oh and I just discovered the crayon tool on SAI! It’s fun~~~)
